Pet Photo Contest – How it Works
The pet photo calendar contest works like this; Contestants register and pay an entry fee that is set by you. Once the contestant has paid the fee, they will then be able to upload a photo of their favorite animal companion. After the picture has posted, the contestant recruits friends and relatives to vote for their pet online. There is a fee for voting, set by you. We suggest one dollar. People can vote as many times as they like for as many pets as they want. This is one time that ballot box stuffing is encouraged! Invite your general membership to vote for their favorite photos, too. If a pet is among the top thirteen vote getters (A Cover photo and one for each month)., they will be featured in your organization’s calendar. Proceeds for entry fees and votes go to your organization, with CompanionCalendar.com receiving a percentage of funds raised on a sliding scale of 4 to 8%.
Once you have signed up for your pet calendar contest, you are provided with a link to our application along with an administrative username and password. Just log on to our secure server and add your business information, contest name, PayPal information and set your contest fees. That is all you have to do, and if you are not comfortable doing that, we will do it for you. After your business information is added, you need only promote your contest. When the contest is completed, download the winning photos and send them to a third party printer to have your calendars made. Expect the added bonus of great calendar sales because contest winners usually buy in bulk! Fundraising truly couldn’t be easier.
